What? When you are at a restaurant you see your dish coming from the kitchen to your table. You start eating and that`s it. Filip Streckx and Antoon Verbeek wanted to make it a bigger experience. They want people to be more aware of what effort is needed to make a dish for you. What they have deigned is a `show` before starting your dinner. You can see a short 3D movie of a little chef walking around on you table. The petite chefs shows you how your dinner is made. What happens before the food comes on the kitchen, fishing for example. And you also sees what happens in the kitchen it selves. There are beamers on the ceiling which show you this movie.

Why? after seeing this movie you are more aware of what effort was needed to serve you this dish. I think you can’t much more mindful as when you do without seeing this movie. You now know what happened with the food you are eating. And you feel more involved with what was needed to give you the food. This fact really fits in the trend Transparency. Because you know what happened and this restaurant has now secrets for you as a costumer. Not only transparency is a trend that fits this coolhunt but also technology and experience economy are two trends that has to do with this. Because as we all know technology is something that is unmissable in our lives many new thing have to do with technology. So does the petite chef show. And the show also gives you a really cool experience before you even start you dinner. I think people don’t want to go just for dinner but really want to be entertained. And also knowing what happened to the food you are going to eat is something people nowadays want to know.
