Facebook is showing it too
What? I guess you also have a Facebook account. As you may have noticed there are a lot of articles which fit in the trend shifting identities. Like there are articles about plastic surgery or people who want to look like celebrities. Or for example how older people are giving their identity a look. Like this old man I saw on Facebook. He was already 68 years old and goes every single day to the fitness to give himself that Zac Efron type of figure. And the new #pirelillCalander is full of bigger ladies and un-perfect people. It is called ground-breaking departure from the traditional pin-up power women. And there are also posts which are called `6 models who embrace the charm of perfectly imperfect teeth. So it shows that when you are a famous model even your imperfections are proved as perfect. But if one of ours would have teeth like them we would called ugly. why? I place this in Shifting Identities because 40% of the posts I see on Facebook are about something that has to do with your Identity. For example the many posts you see about those people who did for so many dollars on plastic surgery to look like a celebrity. Like you have a real life Barbie and Ken, she, the Barbie, removed 2 ribs so she had a smaller waist. Her boobs are as big as a bowling ball and as fake as the science fiction you see witch Star Wars. For it is incomprehensible what these people are doing with their bodies to look like some doll. But it fits in the trend because you see people are finding ways to be unique with their identity in comparing to others.
