What? You might know the brand Adidas. They also wanted to participate in the trend experience economy. I think they did a really good job. They created a pop-up store in some really big places as Barcelona or London. It`s not just a normal store but it looks like a giant shoebox. For example they created the shoebox store in London to celebrate their launch of the new Stan Smith collection. It was a white with green box just as the original Stan Smith shoe. They also made this attention-grabbing exterior large-scale replica of the famous brand’s bright blue shoebox from its “Adidas Originals” range. It was complete with a sizing label and over-sized laces peeking out from the askew lid.
Why? to me this is a really cool idea. It also fits pretty well in the trend experience economy. This because you experience the brand Adidas more the ever. Everywhere you look you see Adidas. It also gives you a unique feeling because you can make your shoe a little more personal. You could do this because it included an interactive floor, a digital ‘Stan Yourself’ station and even a 3D printing post. The station gave costumers the opportunity to put their own faces on their shoes, While the 3D printing post let them make custom lace locks. An disadvantage is maybe the sort of allure of pop-up shops. You have to hurry. The boxes from Adidas will only be there for four days.
